Pola Asuh Orang Tua terhadap Sosial Emosional Anak di Era Digital

Abstract

In the digital era, most parents are technologically literate, so the majority of children have been introduced to digital tools, especially gadgets, as happened at the Lestari Wiyata Kindergarten in Jatigunung Village. This can influence the child's social emotional development. This research aims to determine parents' parenting patterns regarding children's social emotions in the digital era and to determine the impact of using gadgets in the digital era on children's social emotions. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with interviews and observation as data collection tools. This research was conducted from 25 February 2022 to 27 February 2022. The results of this research are that in the Lestari Wiyata Kindergarten, Jatigunung Village, the majority of parents apply a democratic parenting style and some others apply a permissive parenting style. So that the majority of students at the Lestari Wiyata Kindergarten in Jatigunung Village are able to control their desires, are able to show what they feel through expression, know their rights, and are able to respect other people's opinions.
