Keterlibatan Orang Tua dalam Digital Parenting pada Anak Usia Dini: Systematic Literature Review

Abstract This study aims to review and synthesize research findings on parental involvement in digital parenting for early childhood through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review followed the PRISMA guidelines, including identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and article inclusion stages. Data were collected from Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, and Web of Science databases, focusing on publications from 2022 to 2026. A total of 13 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that parental involvement in digital parenting is manifested through supervision, guidance, communication, content selection, and digital safety education. Active mediation emerged as the most effective strategy for supporting children's positive use of technology. Furthermore, effective digital parenting contributes positively to children's digital literacy, cognitive development, language skills, and socio-emotional growth. However, limited parental digital literacy and the rapid advancement of technology remain significant challenges in implementing digital parenting practices. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening parents' digital competencies to support children's healthy and responsible engagement with digital technology.
