Abstract The Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT) is an initiative aimed at stimulating children’s eating patterns through healthy food provision and community education. This research examines inadequacies in the PMT program at TK Dharma Wanita 2 Glundengan, where food provision is dominated by low-nutrition processed factory products that fail to meet nutritional needs of children aged 4-5 years. The research objective is developing a local ingredient-based PMT program to stimulate children’s eating patterns. Using Research and Development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE model and descriptive statistical analysis, results demonstrate the PMT program is valid, practical, and effective. Validation by nutrition experts achieved 97.5%, practicality testing by PMT practitioner teachers scored 87.27%, while effectiveness testing in small and large groups achieved 99.55% and 99.51% respectively. During 8-day implementation, the program showed very high success rates (average 99.51%) with daily consistency above 98%. The PMT program development proves effective in stimulating children’s eating patterns through systematic approaches integrating educational aspects and nutritional fulfillment. Local food ingredient utilization provides added value through program sustainability and cost efficiency. This program has potential for adaptation in various early childhood education institutions with contextual adjustments according to institutional and student characteristics.
