Pengembangan Media 'Dadu and The Box' untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Matematika Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Early mathematics learning in early childhood class B1 at RA An-Nawaa 2 has not developed optimally, apart from that the availability of media related to early mathematics is still limited. So the aim of this research is to develop the Dice And The Box media as a mathematics learning media in order to improve the early mathematics abilities of children aged 5-6 years at RA An-Nawaa 2, Cirebon Regency. This research was conducted using Research and Development (RnD) research using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The results of this research show that the Dice And The Box media in group B1 is suitable for use in learning. Dadu And The Box media went through three stages of validation: the first stage of validation to material experts got a final percentage result of 100%, the second stage of validation to media experts got a final percentage result of 97%, the third stage of validation to user experts (principals got a percentage result of 87% and teachers get a percentage result of 77%). The use of learning media during initial mathematics learning at RA An-Nawaa 2, Cirebon Regency, when a limited trial was carried out in two stages, saw the level of achievement of children's initial mathematics abilities increase to 89%
