Abstract Early age is a period experienced by every individual as the beginning of life in the world. At this time, children experience so fast the process of growth and development, such as psychological, physiological, language, motor, cognitive development. Developments in this stage form an important basis for developments in later stages. Behaviorism learning theory argues that changes in behavior are the impact children and educators or children with their wider environment through the world of education by using stimuli or stimuli that are interrelated with each other so as to produce a change. as the goal of education. This study aims to determine the extent to which the theory of behaviorism is relevant to early childhood Islamic religious education. This study uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study can be obtained from data that the theory of behaviorism is in line with and closely related to teachings in Islam where everything that is done by each individual without exception has certain limits and rules that have been arranged in the order of the Shari'a of the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma, Qiyas which must be guided and implemented as well as possible and if there is a friction or error in its application there will definitely be separate sanctions both implied and explicit as punishment for the act.
